The Week in Review - 08 June 2004 . 20:52
I'm reading a fabulous new book by Marjorie Hudson entitled, "Searching for Virginia Dare: A Fool's Errand." I bought it just yesterday and I'm already 44 pages into the story. For lack of better vocabulary, the book is a cross between a narrative & historic record. Hudson weaves her own life's story into the account of her search for Virigina Dare's lineage and fate. Absolutely enthralling. I've decided to further my education. I've ordered catalogs and applications from both a local community college and state university. I sit excitedly awaiting their arrival. What is my education goal? To obtain a four year degree and proceed to law school. I'll not be entering the field of criminal law, though. I'm more interested in Constitutional law. Greatly saddened was I upon hearing the news of President Reagan's passing. My thoughts are with his family for the loss of their loved one and with our nation for the loss of a beloved former leader.
