Sad Movies - 01 February 2004 . 03:57
I just saw "Beaches" for the first time. The only other movie to make me cry that much was "Steel Magnolias."
Actually, no. It was "What Dreams May Come" that kept me in tears from the first 20 minutes right through the end.
Oh, and "The Patriot." Tear-jerker!
Perhaps I will compile a small list of movies that have made me cry: Stepmom, Phenomenon, The Shawshank Redemption, Michael, Places in the Heart, Hope Floats, When a man loves a woman, The Man in the iron mask, Gone with the wind, French Kiss, Pay it forward, Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Way We Were, Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, etc.
I don't think I've ever cried while reading a book. No, that's not true. I cried through part of "A Tale of Two Cities."
Geez, what a sap!
