Sorry about the last one, I just saw it in my phrase book and thought it was funny. Actually he shouldn't have much trouble getting around and communicating in Paris since he's visiting "un american"...but I would pay money to see the look on the airport workers in Paris when they scan his luggage and see Stove Top stuffing!! haha Last night was fairly uneventful, just as I like my nights to be. The phone didn't ring, no one came by, no one tried to sneak out and break the last night of their grounding. All in all, a good night. Except I was supposed to be back online at 11 to chat with my sister and I didn't make it. I fell alseep somewhere around 6 pm (I worked the night before, got home in the wee hours of Monday morning and stayed up all day Monday cleaning house, writing letters, etc.) I figured I'd get a few hours sleep...I got a few hours and then some! I woke up at 6 am!! Sucks because I missed her chat, rules because I got 12 hours sleep!! WHAHOOOO!! I have to go pay a fine at the DMV today. Way back when, well more like November, my auto insurance lapsed. It lapsed because I didn't pay it. And I got this threatening letter from the DMV telling me I had to "surrender" my tags or pay this $50 fine and show proof of insurance. Bastahds. So I tried going up there Thursday and Friday but the damned place was closed for lunch. Yes, my town is so very small that the DMV office consists of one person and she likes to take 2 hour lunches. Well, sorry Ms. DMV lady but I gotta life (okay, she doesn't have to know!) and I don't have time to sit here in the parking lot and wait for yo azz to get back from lunch!! The due date on the fine was the 19th, which is messed up because the 19th was a Sunday. And yesterday they were closed for the holiday. So they're gonna have to take it today. Nay, they WILL take it today. And that's all I have to say about it.... My sister wrote in my guestbook about WW3 involving her and the brand new DVD/VHS player. Well, they got it exchanged for a non-faulty machine but there was one casualty in the battle....John Travolta. Yes, John Travolta (via the movie "Michael") was in the VCR when it went nuts. Can you just imagine the horror of John Travolta getting chewed up and wrinkled by the VCR heads?? haha. Actually it's a little funny... Oh, and I'm going to take a minute here to put up a shameless plug for Swappington's. It's a place, created by the dood that made Diaryland, where you can go and swap DVDs, VHS tapes, Video Games and books with other members for free. It's based on a points system...you get points for listing items to swap (well, after a successful swap has been made) and if you sign up as a member (which you have to do to swap stuff...but that's ok because it's free) you can earn 4 points for each person that signs up and says you sent them! yay!
