I saw this quiz on Melomane's entry so I decided to take it myself. All fill-in-the-blanks questions about song lyrics from the '80s. How'd I do?
Not bad for someone who never really got into '80s music, eh? And I even got two of the bonus questions! :-)
Nothing much going on here. I'm anxiously awaiting the new History Channel special on the presidency of JFK. It's supposed to air right around the anniversary of his assassination, which is a good thing. I mean, it's high time there were something about his life instead of the same clips from the Zapruder film followed by snippets of the funeral procession. I also read about an exhibit I'm quite interested in seeing. It's at this place called Exploris in Raleigh (I'm guessing Exploris is a museum...never been there...). It's all about the journey of Lewis & Clark.
In other news, I found out that my car may not be in such an advanced state of disrepair as originally thought. My Grandfather, mechanical whiz and resident genius, actually got the car started today. It appears to be a problem with the fuel injection system instead of the motor as we originally thought. ~yay~ Dare I hope to have my car back soon??
PS: I read a few very, very interesting entries today. I clicked a random banner on Diaryland today and ended up at a really great site. But I can't remember the username!! The name contained "firefly" or something very similar, but that was the second part of the name. The first part of it started with a "c" I think. I've tried the member directory and searching but to no avail. If anyone knows who I'm talking about please, please hit me up with the user name. Thanks :-)
