Spent Sunday at Surf City with my Mom, sis, uncle and two younger cousins. The water was cold, which was all good since the sand and sun were HOT! There was even some sweet eye candy scattered along the strand....all good...
Went back to Mom's after the beach trip and crashed my sunburned self at her place Sunday night. Spent the day sleeping and whining about my sunburn pain Monday.
Monday night my sis and I are in route back to my place. I'm sittin in the passenger seat, minding my own business and we're jammin to the radio. One of those pop/80's stations I think. Anyhow, Mariah Carey comes on with her befrigged "version" of one of my all-time favorite Def Leppard songs, "Bringin' On The Heartbreak." Def Leppard is my band, Joe Elliott is the man and Mariah Carey is a washed up basketcase old hag.
It took 20 minutes and two different radio stations to cleanse my ears of the evil assault that was waged by this chica.
Apparently that wasn't bad enough because as I walked into the house formulatin' my hate mail campaign to Ms. Carey, I walked up the stairs to turn on the AC in the kitchen. I put our leftover Chinese in the fridge and glanced over where I saw a field mouse doin' the backstroke in my sink. IN MY SINK! This furry little varmint treatin' my kitchen like the YMCA...
The nerve...
But the mouse wasn't killed. My sis bravely scooped him up in one of those "BIG GULP" plastic cups and we dropped him out in the field where he belongs.
While I'm at it, can anyone tell me how to make text BOLD or ITALIC or UNDERLINED in an entry??
