Haunted - 20 January 2003 . 05:03 I think my diary is haunted. Chad was here day before yesterday and clicked the previous entries link and heard little squeaking noises...like a little field mouse choir if you will. He enjoyed it so much that he kept on clicking the link just to hear it. Once he told me about it I clicked on it. Lo and behold, I heard the mousy choir singin' away. Then, yesterday, Chad clicked on the link and....NOTHING HAPPENED! Eerie, huh? Yeah, I was befuddled until he revealed he had eaten a salad full of 'shrooms at this little bistro in the projects. Now I'm convinced that he imagined the whole thing...hehe. Nah, I heard it too and now it's gone...creepy!! I got off work 2 hours early this morning so I threw a load of laundry in the wash and came to diaryland to update just to throw everyone off!! ~maniacal laughter~ Or am I updating now to avoid doing the rest of the housework that sits here staring me in the face?? We may never know. I actually chatted with Zyphun-k yesterday!! WHAHOO!! Too bad it was a short conversation but I was on my way to work and had to log off... I finished my latest read, "Founding Brothers." I must say I was a bit disappointed. The book was good in the aspect that it related cold hard facts. It was disappointing in the aspect that I learned nothing new from this book. Yep, 225 pages of the same ol' thing. Perhaps I have read TOO much about the American Revolution and the birth of the American political process?? Nnnnnnaaaaaahhhhh!! Came home this morning and found out my little "house guest" has been playing in the silverware drawer yet again. Good thing I covered the entire silverware tray in aluminum foil!! The disgusting little thing never came in contact with my silverware!! Yay!! There were scratch marks on the aluminum foil but no puncture marks or holes... Built a better mouse keeper-outter....hehe.... My little sister, the youngest one (not aura-chic), has decided she is too old to have a curfew and for the past 2 dates she has come home 15 to 30 minutes late. Well, I can't have someone usurping my authority (in South Park style that would be "respect mah ah-thor-i-tahhhhhhh!") so I had to lay down the LAW! I told her that as long as she lived under MY roof she had to abide by my rules, which includes a curfew. I understand she is 18 and I know what it was like to be 18.....this is precisely why I give her a curfew. LOL. So as her punishment I told her she could not go out for the next 2 nights. Which is turning out to be my punishment since tonight is the last night of her "grounding" and it's also my night off!!!! So I get to stay home and listen to/watch her sulk. It's all good though. No one said I couldn't go out!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!! Well, reckon I better get off here and get some housework done...there is sooooooooo much...plus another 3 loads of laundry!! That's what happens when you live with an 18 year old who changes clothes 3 times a day and doesn't know how to work the washing machine without flooding the laundry room!!! But, before I go...you guys gotta check THIS out!!
