Crunchy Frog - 19 February 2003 . 07:15 I've been posting about my "soulmate" lately and after chatting with a couple of close friends (and the much needed nudge I received from squirrelx via my guestbook) I sent him an e-mail. It was nothing major, just your basic e-mail to reestablish contact after a prolonged lapse. I felt pretty good about the e-mail...hell, I even dared to feel confident. Until I hit the send button. Darned Yahoo and their refusal to facilitate wishy-washy folks like myself via an "Unsend" method. Now it's just a matter of "wait and see." And, to quote a song whose title I can't remember at the moment, "waiting is the hardest part." I ratted out a co-worker last week. I was talking with another co-worker about this person and telling them, in confidence, how this person belittles me in front of others, etc. Basically I get no respect or courtesy from this person. My co-worker suggested talking to our boss in confidence, which I did last Thursday. So yesterday I get a phone call from this person and she said, "I got called into the office this morning and was told I was being disrespectful to the people I work with and I'm trying to figure out who would say something like that." I said, "You mean they didn't tell you who?" She said, "No, but I told them I'd find out!" Now I'm all nervous...the reason I talked to my boss in confidence was to keep from making the situation worse when I had to work with her. Now I fear she will find me out for the cowardly rat that I am and treat me yet worse! Perhaps I'm making too big deal of this, which I tend to do, but it could blow up in my face tout suite here.... Chad whose diary you can read here invited me to see James Earl Jones at UNCP last night. Unfortunately work kept me from attending. I've always wanted to hear him speak...maybe next time. Well, that's all for now...
