It's the most wonderful time of the year....
Yes, it's TAX TIME! WHAHOO!! While I despise filling out the silly federal and state tax forms, I love getting the refund checks in the mail!!
My cat is in heat. All day/night long, I hear her loud and incessant "mrowrrrrrrrrr"ing, begging for entrance to the outdoors where she can meet up with some tomcat for a wild time. Alas, I have managed to keep her inside...I meant to get her fixed before this first cycle happened but the time just slipped on by...so now I must witness her walking around the house with her front half dragging on the carpet and her rear end stuck WAY UP in the air...
Meanwhile, my uncle came over this afternoon to change the lock on my front door. The thug (my stepsister) somehow got a key to my house and was using it as "the party place" while I was at work. So I decided to change the lock without notifying her...kinda mess her up a bit when she thinks she's coming over here to party at night. hehe. I'm so evil...
Anyhow, he's here changing the lock and the cat is all over him. Rubbing up against him, meowing softly and giving him this come hither look. I was cracking up...it was like a twisted porn movie...handy man being seduced not by the lady of the house but by the cat...
I must go to work soon. After being off yesterday I am reluctant to return...the weather has been so nice the past two days...hardly fulfilling the groundhog's prophecy. 70 degrees, warm sunshine, a nice breeze and, since it's still technically winter, no bugs!!
I had a long conversation with Sir Z last night. As usual he was charming, witty and very humorous. I didn't realize quite how much we had in common until our discussion of various topics....Be strong, man, be strong...~smiles~
My true, non-thug sister started her new job today. Hopefully all went well and the day progressed without incident...I am still waiting to hear from her.
